The Australasian Chapter of the Association for Information Systems (AAIS) is the voice of the global Information Systems community and is the AIS chapter that represents Australia, New Zealand and Oceania more broadly.
The purpose of the AAIS is to promote the exchange of ideas, experiences, and knowledge among scholars and professionals engaged in the development, management, and use of information systems and technology in organisational and social contexts within its jurisdiction.
AAIS supports premier outlets for IS research, including the Australasian Journal of Information Systems (AJIS) and the annual Australasian Conference on Information Systems (ACIS). It liaises with all relevant government and professional peak bodies; click here for more information. All members of the AAIS must abide by the AIS Research Code of Conduct.
Academic IS departments from recognised higher education institutions can apply for Departmental Membership. Individual academics and practitioners can join AIS directly.
