Ioana Chan Mow

Ioana Chan Mow is a Professor in Computing and Computer Education at the National University of Samoa. She is a Foundation Fellow for the Pacific Academy of Sciences. Her research has been diverse but focused on Technology in education and ICT4D. Her work has been published in Springer, and other leading outlets.
Edna Temese-Ualesi

Dr. Edna Temese-Ualesi is a Senior Lecturer in Computer Studies at the National University of Samoa and the Head Centre at the Centre of Excellence in Information Technology. She holds a Ph.D. focusing on “Mobile Learning in Higher Education” from Ibaraki University, Japan, and has published extensively on mobile learning, e‑learning technologies, and cultural sustainability in Samoa. Her recent published works include studies on improving programming for students, ICT policies and rural connectivity and ICT in Education. Dr. Temese-Ualesi has contributed to numerous international conferences, including DevNet 2024 in Otago, the International Symposium on ICT for Sustainable Development, and the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) Riyadh 2024, reflecting her active engagement in global ICT and governance dialogues. She has also served as a consultant for UNESCO, UNDP, and UNESCAP projects, advancing ICT in education and rural development.
