Dear Colleagues,
We invite you to submit your best work to the Australasian Conference on Information Systems (ACIS), which will be held from 2nd-4th December 2026 and hosted at Edith Cowan University, Western Australia, Australia. We welcome the submission of completed research papers and short research papers. ACIS 2026 will bring together students, academics, and industry professionals to share knowledge about the evolving landscape of information systems in both theory and practice. ACIS 2026 provides opportunities for adding value to your work in several key areas: supporting your growth as a researcher, building your professional networks, offering developmental reviews and feedback, and facilitating opportunities for research progress.
This year’s conference theme is “AI-Infused Information Systems: Capabilities, Transformation, and the Next Frontier” and directly addresses some of the impact that digital technologies are having in the academy, work, society and culture.
List of tracks: Tracks for ACIS 2026 are still under development. Further information will be announced through the Australasian IS Community Lists and on the ACIS Website (forthcoming). Proposed tracks will explore, but not be limited to, AI-enabled systems, organisational and societal transformation driven by AI technologies, and emerging frontiers in digital innovation, governance, and human-AI Collaboration. Interdisciplinary perspectives that combine technical, organisational, and societal dimensions of AI-infused information systems are particularly encouraged. While alignment with this conference theme is welcome, papers reflecting broader area of Information Systems research are also invited.
Submission and Registration: Submissions will be conducted through the ACIS Website and managed using EasyChair system. Registrations will be conducted through the ACIS 2026 Website.
