AAIS is committed to supporting the next generation of Information Systems professionals and incorporating them into the AIS community. In 2018, we have launched the Information Systems High Achievement Awards, which recognise the top Information Systems graduate (at either undergraduate or postgraduate level) at each Institutional Sponsor university. The awards are designed to highlight the best of Information Systems graduates in Australasia to potential employers.
Each Institutional Sponsor university can nominate ONE graduate each year across all of its Information Systems related programs/degrees/majors. The level of award (undergraduate or postgraduate) is at the discretion of the Institutional Sponsor university. The nominated student should represent the highest grade outcomes across the institutions Information Systems related programs/degrees/majors.
Each nominated student will receive an AAIS Award certificate on behalf of the Institutional Sponsor university, together with a $100 prize from the AAIS and a free one year AIS membership kindly sponsored by the AIS.
At the conclusion of the academic year, the Publications and Membership AAIS executive officer will communicate with universities who were Institutional Sponsors in the prior year to seek nominations. Nominations require student contact details and a copy of their academic transcript.
