Dear Colleagues,
The Australasian Conference on Information Systems 2026 invites proposals for conference tracks aligned with the theme “AI-Infused Information Systems: Capabilities, Transformation, and the Next Frontier.” Tracks play a central role in shaping the intellectual program of the conference by bringing together communities of scholars working on related topics within the Information Systems discipline.
We welcome track proposals that examine how artificial intelligence is reshaping information systems, organisations, and digital ecosystems. In line with the conference theme, proposed tracks may explore capabilities required for AI-enabled systems, organisational and societal transformation driven by AI technologies, and emerging frontiers in digital innovation, governance, and human-AI collaboration. Interdisciplinary perspectives that combine technical, organisational, and societal dimensions of AI-infused information systems are particularly encouraged. While alignment with the conference theme is welcomed, proposals reflecting broader areas of Information Systems research are also invited.
Each track will be led by one or more Track Chairs, who will be responsible for promoting the track, coordinating the peer-review process, and supporting the development of a high-quality conference program.
Track Proposal Requirements
Track proposals should include:
- Track title
- Track description (approximately 150-250 words) outlining scope and relevance
- Names and affiliations of proposed Track Chairs
- Short biography of Track Chairs
- Explanation of how the track aligns with the conference theme and the Information Systems discipline
Submission Deadline
Track proposals should be submitted by 30 March 2026. Accepted tracks will form part of the official ACIS 2026 conference program, and Track Chairs will work closely with the Program Chairs to manage submissions and the review process.
Please send track proposals to acis@aaisnet.org.
Sincerely,
ACIS 2026 Program Co-chairs
