The Australasian Journal of Information Systems (AJIS) has just made Q1 in the ‘Business Management and Accounting’ SJR rankings from SCIMAGO.
It is with enormous pleasure that the AAIS can announce on behalf of the AJIS, that our journal has achieved the milestone of reaching Q1 in the SJR rankings of SCIMAGO. This has been through the dedicated effort of Editorial Teams both current and previous. We want to acknowledge the AJIS Co-editors in Chief Professor Michael Davern and Dr. Stu Black (University of Melbourne) as well as our Immediate Past Editor-in-Chief, Professor Karlheinz Kautz (RMIT). I also want to acknowledge the work of the Dr. Jacqui Blake (UniSC) the AJIS Production Editor and John James (UOW, UOW College), the journal’s Chief Technology Officer.
The Australasian IS Community has been fortunate indeed to have the leadership of its journal, so focused on providing real value for all of us. We should also appreciate the incredible amount of professional and personal time that is put into ensuring the quality of this journal, all of this as dedicated, unpaid volunteer workers. It has all led to this wonderful result! Over the years, AJIS has helped many researchers publish in the fields of information systems and related technical and management areas. Please consider submitting your best work to it and also following the example of the AJIS Editorial Team in contributing to it as a reviewer and/or section editor.
Well done AJIS
Kind Regards
Prof. Rodney J. Clarke
President AAIS
