The AAIS proudly sponsors and/or administers several awards, prizes and scholarships for the Australasian Information Systems community. From time to time, awards are developed by ACIS hosts or by the AAIS Executive. Current prizes include:
IS Community Champion Award: sponsored by AAIS and launched in 2019.
Information Systems High Achievement Award: awarded to the highest grade/mark Information Systems graduate at each sponsoring institution.
John Campbell Research Impact Award – awarded to an article that presents a research study with a significant relevance and impact to practice, while exhibiting rigorous high-quality Information Systems related research.
Leoni Warne Prize – sponsored in collaboration with ACS and ACPHIS, awarded to an article that addresses any of the broad range of issues relating to the area of women in IT.
Natalie F Hardwicke Best Student Paper Award – sponsored by the Hardwicke Family Trust and administered by AAIS, recognises exceptional quality publications by PhD students exhibiting innovative, box-breaking research.
ACIS Attendance Scholarship – established by AAIS to assist a research student with costs related to attending the Australasian Conference on Information Systems (ACIS) to present their full research paper or research in progress paper.
ACIS Best Theoretical Paper Prize – awarded at each ACIS conference.
